The gourmet restaurant Regain will delight your senses. First and foremost, your taste buds, with the sun-kissed, variegated cuisine of Provence. Chef Yves Gattechaut composes a creative, seasonal menu from local produce: Pays de Sault lamb, spelt, lavender flowers, chestnuts, mushrooms, game, truffles... But the surroundings are also sure to delight: from the bright, airy dining room and the charming, leafy terrace, feast your eyes on an exceptional panoramic view of Mont Ventoux, the sunsets and, in season, the lavender fields of the Plaine de Sault.

The chef

Yves Gattechaut

Yves Gattechaut, the chef at gourmet restaurant Regain, is also the owner of the Hostellerie. His love of Provence led him to settle among these wonderful hills opposite Mont Ventoux many years ago. He now delights in sharing these beautiful surroundings with his guests. In the kitchen, he is also driven by the desire to share what he loves and he loves nothing better than presenting exceptional local produce. He compares his job to a painter or a musician who, every day, must invent new compositions and harmonies. His greatest joy is to delight diners with one of his latest creations.

Menu & carte

In the restaurant at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the menus are not set in stone, and change with the seasons and their produce. Using locally sourced ingredients, the chef regularly puts together themed menus based around Provençal truffles, lavender, spelt, or game... Set out on a culinary adventure to discover a creative, flavoursome cuisine, eggs infused with Ventoux "black diamond" truffle, Pays de Sault lamb with a blackcurrant wine and lavender sauce and moelleux au chocolat with a honey and lavender heart.



Breakfast (Buffet)

Is there a more pleasant way of starting the day than taking breakfast overlooking a stunning natural landscape? Enjoy this luxury at the Hostellerie du Val de Sault. In the restaurant room or on the terrace, take breakfast while contemplating Mont Ventoux. Choose from a wide range of local produce at the buffet.  If you prefer breakfast in bed, the Hostellerie also provides room service.
