Bicycle

Located opposite Mont Ventoux, our 4-star hotel in Provence is a real invitation to cycling. The Domaine offers several services for cycling enthusiasts: secure bicycle parking, bicycle hire (electric, mountain bikes, etc.). You will be able to set off with peace of mind to tackle the Giant of Provence or take other signposted routes to discover the Nesque gorges, the Ventoux terraces or the perched villages of Provence.

Walking tour

Situated at the crossroads of ancient paths, Sault offers many opportunities for organised or solo walks, including the GR4, GR9 and GR92. At the hotel's doorstep, you can take the Bois du Défends trail (7 km), a former seigneurial reserve used for the construction of Colbert's fleet. Nearby, another signposted circuit (9 km) allows you to admire the beauty of the Nesque gorges and many other paths will lead you to the unmissable villages of Provence. Finally, a must-see monument in the region, take a hike to Mont Ventoux.

Horseback riding

The many paths that criss-cross the South Ventoux and Provence can be explored not only on foot or by bike but also on horseback. Sault is an equestrian town with a racecourse that is still in operation (one meeting per year for harnessed trotting). It is located on the horse riding trail that follows the Lavender Route. This equestrian journey, between lavender fields and vineyards, offers a colourful and fragrant route. If you prefer to discover the surroundings of Mont Ventoux by donkey, rides are also available near the hostellerie du Val de Sault.

Climbing

The gorges and rocky outcrops of the Vaucluse are ideal for rock climbing. Whether you are a beginner or already an expert, many addresses located in the vicinity of the hotel will allow you to practice this sport in Provence. In Montbrun-les-Bains or Saint-Christol, you can climb small or large cliffs (up to 120 metres) or practise the via ferrata, by walking along the side of the walls on balcony paths.

Tree climbing

Would you like to get some height and enjoy nature and the forest in a different way? Many "adventure courses" await you near our hotel in Sault. In Mormoiron and Saint-Christol, the Balad'Arbres course offers you monkey bridges, tyrolean traverses and other giant steps to test your agility. In the heart of the Luberon, in Rustrel, another forest course allows you to evolve at heights ranging from 3 to 20 metres above an ochre canyon.

Golf

Would you like to play or learn to play golf in Provence? A few kilometres from our 4-star hotel in Provence, in the superb village of Villars, in the heart of the Luberon, a 12-hectare hilly course welcomes you to play or learn golf. The club offers a driving range (21 posts on 220 m), a 9-hole course and an 18-hole course. Open 7 days a week, it offers the possibility of taking lessons, especially for children.

Paragliding

Take off from Mont Ventoux to fly over the valley of Sault and the beautiful villages of Provence, this is what the paragliding school of Sault offers you. Located near the hotel, it allows you to discover free flight in the framework of a tandem paragliding experience with a state-qualified instructor. It also organises beginner, introductory and advanced courses to develop your experience until you are completely autonomous on take-off, landing and in flight.
